You Can Be the Star!

That's right! You can be the star when Tom Watson visits the Senior Center at 1:00 on Monday, July 28. Tom is a DJ and will lead us in karaoke with his special equipment. Karaoke is a form of entertainment in which amateur singers sing along with recorded music using a microphone through a public address system. This is your chance to show off your talent. You can sing solo with the music or maybe even get a friend or two to sing along with you. You won't want to miss this event if you love to sing and reminisce through music from the past. There is no cost to attend and everyone is invited. Please register in the Senior Center office by July 24 if you plan to attend.

Concerts in the Park

Thursday night Concerts in the Park continue from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. through August 14. Food vendors will be available so that those who attend the concerts can enjoy a picnic supper in the park for a small fee. Bring the whole family out for food and fun! Oil Painting Class

Barb Smith will teach an oil painting class from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16. All supplies for the class will be furnished. Cost for the class is $26 per person and must be paid in the Senior Center office prior to the class. Participants should wear old clothes or an apron. Stop in the office to help select the picture to be painted. Reservations for lunch at the Senior Center should be made at least one day in advance.

Eldest Daughter Moving Service

Eldest Daughter Moving Service is a senior move management company that specializes in assisting older adults and their families with the emotional and physical aspects of relocation. Attend this seminar at 11:30 on Monday, July 14, and learn how they provide clients with peace of mind during a stressful time.
